Hello everyone, I am Ik-hwan Kim, President & CEO of WOOJIN PLAIMM Co., Ltd.

Beginning with the production of our very first injection molding machine in 1985, WOOJIN PLAIMM has grown into a global leader specializing in injection molding machines, now operating across more than 40 business locations worldwide.

We accelerated our technological development by establishing an R&D Center in 1999 and went on to develop South Korea's first all-electric injection molding machine in 2000.
Since then, we have consistently led the industry by introducing innovative technologies such as two-color (double injection), PET preform, and stack & tandem mold injection molding machines.

The TH, TE, and DL-A5 series, developed primarily through our Austrian R&D corporation, have gained worldwide recognition for their quality and performance.
Building on these achievements, WOOJIN PLAIMM was selected as a World Class 300 company in 2011 and honored as an Outstanding Enterprise in 2022.
Furthermore, we continue to lead the development of eco-friendly technologies.

In 2018, we developed “Super-Foam,” the world’s first low-pressure physical microcellular foaming injection molding machine, successfully achieving lightweight and additive-free foam molding.
In 2025, we introduced “Clean-Foam” technology, expanding its applications across various industries.
In 2023, we continued to pioneer global injection molding technology by introducing the tie-bar-less injection molding machine (TL-A5), the hybrid multi-component injection molding machine (DLA5-2K-T), and the tie-bar-less multi-component injection molding machine (TLA5-2K-W), earning the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

WOOJIN PLAIMM declared its commitment to ESG management in 2021, and since then, we have been driving sustainable innovation across safety, quality, environmental management, and corporate governance.
